Encouragement

Coming back from Honduras a little over two weeks ago, I have been able to really reflect & think about all God did on our one week trip. It was truly amazing, of all the blessings & prayers God answered that we started praying for 5 months prior to the trip! It is difficult for me to discuss or share with people how the trip went when they ask. The reason is how can some explain the works of God?? We can try to put them into words but its difficult to express the feeling of when God uses you in new ways. Our mission was to plant "S.E.E.D.S." We went to Serve, Encourage, Evangelize , Disciple, & to Share the Love of Christ. In the deepest part of my heart I feel that we accomplished our mission. Not only that, I feel that God showed each person on the team the specific reason why He wanted them there.. Some to serve in a new area of ministry, others to come to know him more deeply. For myself, God showed me even more so that he has called me to raise & equip the Honduran people to help change their nation. The "What If" questions I kept asking God about, the times of fear in moving to a new culture were tossed aside. I left encouraged; feeling at home; feeling that there is still so much work to be done both spiritually & humanitarian that I knew leaving that this is without a doubt where God is calling us to serve Him. Many people have mentioned that "there is so much need in the States" and "Why are you moving away from family, friends & good jobs to serve in a place where you are literally giving up all that you have here?? Especially when there are many people that need help right where we are!" I have to tell them that Honduras is a place where God as used us in ways I can even explain. We have seen Him perform miracles & move in peoples hearts so intimately that they have changed their lives to follow Christ. It is the place God has put a burden in our hearts to serve Him, and a place that is on my mind every hour. It is the place the God has called our family to serve, and if we didn't.. if we just stayed comfortable here in the States with everything we have now, then we would not be obedient to God. And we would not experience all His glory that we see when we step out in faith & move to where He has called us. That is why we must go, because He has called us to these people; to encourage them and step out in obedience, declaring His great name.

- Transition into the new school year
- Finances for a 15 passenger van
- Finances for bilingual bibles for our small group bible studies
- Partnerships with individuals & churches, or businesses to help us not only reach our goals but surpass them so we can spread the gospel even deeper into Honduras
- We are around 70% funded for our first year & start up cost! Please pray that God will provide the rest that He knows we need by the end of September.
- Pray that God starts a fire in peoples hearts in the states for our mission and ministry.
