I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." ~Isaiah 43:19 ***UPDATE*** Just a day after we filmed our newsletter, there became an even more desperate need for food here in Comayagua, as the government had issued another order where people can only go to the stores once every two weeks because of the virus. This sent people who are already becoming desperate into a panic and that next morning we fed over 120 families who came to Enlaces' gate seeking food, praying with them and sharing what God has blessed us with. But we sadly had to turn away another 100 people to come back the next day. The next day (today on May 6th) that number increased so much to 400+ people outside waiting (some traveling on foot as far as 2 hours down from the mountains), and although the local police were assisting in the crowd control, we were told that we could no longer give out food from the front of Enlaces and would have to circulate to different neighborhoods if we wanted to distribute food because of the size of the crowd. This can be dangerous if not done correctly. We know that God is still making a way in the wilderness, just like we shared from Isaiah in our video. He has provided and has called us to be His servants, so we are merely seeking Him on how to move forward. So we are asking you all to join us in prayer as the team makes a plan to go out into different neighborhoods to feed them both physically and spiritually in a time where they are even more so in desperate need.
